In addition to our own skills and expertise, Tom Martin & Associates/TMA are members of a number of international networks and consequently we can call on the expertise of other network members for additional specialist inputs.

European Network for Social and Economic Research (ENSR)

European Network for Social and Economic Research (ENSR)

TMA are the Irish members of the European Network for Social and Economic Research (ENSR), a network of consultancy and research organisations covering 33 countries specialising in economic and applied social research. The ENSR network covers all 28 EU Member States and EEA countries such as Switzerland, Norway and Iceland.

In total, the ENSR network employs more than 600 highly qualified researchers specialised in applied economic and social research.

The METRIS Project

TMA were the Irish Country Expert for the METRIS (Monitoring Emerging Trends on Social Sciences and Humanities in Europe) project which was funded by DG Research and Innovation to identify emerging trends in research in the Social Sciences and Humanities. TMA prepared a number of reports which are provided here:

Entrepreneurship education in the Further Education and Training Sector (FET)

Tom Martin & Associates/TMA were commissioned by SOLAS to undertake a review of best practice in the provision of entrepreneurship education in the Further Education and Training (FET) sector. As a result of our work in this area which means that we have researched entrepreneurship education in the primary, secondary, tertiary and FET sectors, we are publishing this paper on entrepreneurship education in the FET sector:
